Odyssey
Media Productions LLC produces live action, 2 and 3D animation and
interactive projects for the purposes of commercial use and
broadcasting.
Several
of Odyssey’s productions have been distributed in the
domestic and foreign markets. Auto Showcase, a video
compendium of exotic automobiles was distributed in Japan by
Shinto. Fantasy Cars, a program about alternative powered
vehicles, was distributed domestically by Simitar.
A
series of architectural documentaries commissioned by the
artists and conservators were produced for broadcast on PBS
(Channel 21).
They are entitled Restoration with Rhyme and Reason,
and Of Glass and Glaze.
Odyssey
has produced corporate films, interactive sites, and CD/DVDs
to promote products and services of several fortune 500
companies.
High end architectural promotional CDs were created for
Brown Harris Stevens and Felix Chavez, Inc, as was a
promotional CD for Reebok.
Odyssey pioneered the design of an entertaining multi
functional interface for an on/offline CME medical course for
Abbott Labs, and was called upon by Insight Media to develop
and produce original educational films for the university
market.
The
founders of Odyssey Media Productions developed a new out of home
media network, TaxiTV, and produced original tailored
programming to suit the venue. Odyssey has several new
projects currently in development for the purposes of
television distribution.
